Purchase, NY multi-state insurance defense firm seeks experienced legal assistant/paralegal (3 years) to assist attorneys in all phases of litigation. Candidate must be organized and be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Experience in insurance defense litigation and paralegal certificate a plus.

Experience Requirements:

• Drafting correspondence, notices, pleadings, discovery demands/responses, stipulations, subpoenas etc.
• Motion preparation
• Document productions and redactions
• Preparation of witness/exhibit lists and trial binders
• Retention of expert witnesses, preparation of expert indexes, production of records
• E-filing (State & Federal)
• Calendar management for assigned caseload
• Additional administrative duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
